Elizabeth Cary was the daughter of Sir Edward Cary and Katherine Knyvett.1 She married John Savile, 1st Baron Savile of Pomfret, son of Sir Robert Savile and Anne Hussey, on 20 November 1586.1
From 20 November 1586, her married name became Savile.

Also, I think we should review the other children of John, 1st Baron Savile of Pontefract as it seems the only one he shared eith Elizabeth Carey was Sir Thomas Savile, 1st Earl of Sussex
