How is Captain William Gray, I the same as Capt. William Gray, of Surry County He did not name any Dunn daughters or grandchildren in his Will, according to Adventures of Purse & Person.

Thanks for references from primary sources.

His Will, dated 3 June 1719, proved November 1719, names his sons William and Gilbert, daughters Mary Gray, Faith Ruffin, Priscilla Gray, and several grandchildren.
  4. Will also names his grandchildren Wm ANDREWS, elizabeth Edwards., wm. Gray, and William Ruffin.
