I have worked today on clarifying, adding sources and updating a profile which as one goes to the family tree there are definitely duplictaes. Of my 7th G/G and my 6th G/G.
I clicked onto what appeared to me to be my 6th G/G profile that I did some time ago... However it appeared to be a created profile that I was looking at.
Quite mystified as to how this would appear.
Any suggestions???
One PM - named Neil does appear to have duplicated these respective profiles...
This profile that I am referring to requires to be deleted...

Without any justification whatsoever you have claimed that John Hamilton was that son of John Hamilton of Allanshaw whose baptism was registered at Blantyre on 11 January 1691. You have ignored the fact that the earliest record so far identified for him is the record of his marriage to Janet Young in 1717, and that this confirms that his wife was the daughter of William Young in Carscarden, and that he was the servant of John Burn in Brumbletown. There is nothing in his marriage record, or in the baptismal records of his four known children, which mentions the name of his father, or his mother, or his place of birth, or even his former place of residence.
