Many of the profile information documents that I have attached to the 'Overview - About' now appear to relate to totally different people.
I assume others have similar experiences. How can I rectify this without doing a new research for each individual and updating the many profiles.

As examples, My 'Joseph Fleissig' link: Burial reg: https://www.jewishgen.org/databases/cemetery/jowbr.php?rec=J_AUSTRI... now references 'Adolf Elias' and
my 'Rosalia Hirschenhauser Rozenzweig' link: Burial record: https://www.jewishgen.org/databases/cemetery/jowbr.php?rec=J_SLOVAK... now references 'Jisroel Apfeldorfer'. !!

Never store any URLs, they can change, the website can go offline, images disappear, whatever. ALWAYS download the referenced document if possible and/or create a screenshot, upload it into Sources and then cite or quote it. This way it will be linked to the profile for good and will not change over time.

Hi Nick, My view is to work on any profile information that comes to my attention. You did some good things about Joseph Fleissig. Now work on Adolf Elias. Well meaning Geni users run out of close family in half a hour and move on to other leads.

Thank you for your contributions to the World Family Tree.

Changing the link system often happens on websites. Try to analyze the "old" and "new" link. Sometimes it is possible to understand what has changed in the link and how to convert the "old" one into the "new" one. You can contact the technical support of the site itself jewishgen.org, they can tell you more precisely

Hi all, although Jewishgen contains valuable information I can’t remember one time that I wasn’t deeply frustrated after visiting the site!
The search tool is very poor and makes you go through a lot of results which are not related to what is being locket for. Once you find something of interest you can’t save the finding and return to it at a later time, I can’t copy a link from within the Jewishgen and put it anywhere so it will serve as reference to the finding – it will lead you to nowhere! On top of it, finding and downloading the actual document which sometimes appears as base for the information, is usually an impossible task to do!
