Childeric I lived and was the first King to rule a unified Frankish kingdom (albeit much smaller than the France of today).
He claimed to be decended from semi-mythical Merovec and Chlodio
(both have much written about them, but the location of their remains is unknown).
Childeric on the other hand has a great deal written about him by friends and enemies alike, and has physical remains interred in a Masoleum at modern day St Brice Cemetery, Tournai, Belgium.
Emperor Charlemagne (aka Karolus Magnus, or Charles the Great) only rose to prominence as King of the Franks in the first place because he claimed to be descended from Childeric, Merovec, and Chlodio (a lineage which is unlikely, doubted by many historians, and unsuprisingly absent from the Charlemagne MP).
Anyway, not sure why you have Childeric listed as Ficticious, but please update the profile or merge with the othe Childeric MP '✌️
