Hertiginna av Toulouse Emma de Mortain (Rouergue), comtesse consort de Toulouse - Her name

Started by Stephen Burke on today

Where does "Hertiginna av Toulouse Emma de Mortain (Rouergue), comtesse consort de Toulouse" come from? The only evidence I can see for her name is that it was simply Emma de Mortain, her father Robert being count of Mortain. When she married Guillaume de Toulouse she became Emma de Toulouse.

Her father Robert's name is incorrect as well, he was Robert count of Mortain, he was granted the county of Mortain by his half-brother William.
