"United States Census, 1870", , FamilySearch (https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:MN6W-VZZ : Tue Mar 05 10:26:12 UTC 2024), Entry for Catharine Morris and Sarah C Morris, 1870.

Yeah, I used the family tree source but that's all I have. There is a marriage record though so I am pretty sure she was a Conover at one point. ;-)

Ancestry trees also do not give Catherine a maiden name of "Havens":

The marriage record is not available in original form and it was apparently hard to read. But a son died and left a death cert naming her as Catherine Conover. Am attaching as a source.

Cleaned up this Morris family; there was a generational problem with John L Morris in that he had two wives but somebody split him in two instead of looking carefully. All set now.

This family married into both the Giffords (relatives of mine) and the Johnsons (other relatives of mine) which makes them pretty interesting. I will keep working on this family to get it right if there are any other issues found.

Interesting in that this fellow's origins are unknown, but his family married all Irish immigrants, and he lived near a descendant of John Johnson and Jane Saubiere. James Johnson . I'd bet he was from the same County Monaghan - area family. But needs confirmation of course.
