This profile has become scrambled through careless merges.
The profile was originally "Abraham or Jacob Stover," two alternative fathers of Jeremiah Stover. It llooks like the original profile has been merged into the profile for Abraham (and the error has proliferated across the Internet so many sites now have Abraham as Abraham Jacob, and father of Jeremiah).
The problem might be resolved by undoing one of the merges, maybe this one: Частный профиль However, it looks like that might reintroduce other problems.
Perhaps a better way would be to change this profile back to "Abraham," lock the name, then create a new placeholder profile for the father of Jeremiah. The new placeholder, if created, would need to be MP'd and name locked so it doesn't get merged again into Abraham or Jacob.
Wrong link. The merge that could be reversed is https://www.geni.com/merge/view?revision_id=78300029770

I think the rename to Abraham Stover is simpler & cleaner, so selected that method.
Thanks. Now the issue to be decided--collectively, I hope--is how to handle the uncertain paternity of Jeremiah Stover, Sr.
Pam Wilson (on hiatus) has said it is certain he was a grandson of Jacob Stover, Sr. but not clear whether he was a son of Abraham or of Jacob Jr.
Pam is the lone voice here. Other sites uniformly say Jeremiah was son of Abraham (FamilySearch, Findagrave, WikiTree, and WeRelate), although none cite a source.
We could
(a) create a placeholder profile and MP it, as was done before,
(b) leave him with a parent conflict, as he has now,
(c) disconnect him from any parents, leaving Pam's note about his possible parents, or
(d) attach him to either Abraham or Jacob Jr.
Thoughts?
