NOTICE: For those who do not know: the Wright-WASHINGTON descent ends with Francis Wright and Anne Massey, as they had only daughters. DNA research on this Wright family has disproven any further descent from John Wright of Ploughland, Co. York d. 1540 through the Washingtons.
Col. Francis Wright's descent through his 2nd wife Martha Cox does continue today. If you are a male Wright descendant through Francis Wright and Martha Cox you can still qualify for DNA testing.
