This Sir John Fastolf II shows on Geni as my 16th ggf, but when I go to his Wikipedia page, it states he had no children:

"Fastolf's wife was significantly older than him, and the couple had no children."

So who are the actual parents of

Alice Fastolf

Thanks in advance for any clarification.

The answer may be in the Wiki notes for 'daughter' Alice:

Alice's father was John Fastolf of Fishley.[2]

Alice's father shouldn't be confused with John Fastolf of Oulton in Suffolk or his more famous cousin, Sir John Fastolf.[3]

Another look at the Wikipedia page in this John's profile shows his wife was Millicent, widow of Sir Stephen Scrope (née Tibetot/Tiptoft), not Alice Avenal. So I'm 'assuming' that's the problem. It was Millicent who didn't have children with her husband and the wrong Wikipedia link is in this John's profile, which causes confusion.

This is the Wiki page for the John Fastolf who was the husband of Alice Avenal and father of their daughter Alice:

His parents seem to be unknown, which makes the lineage going back beyond him here on Geni likely to be unproven.

The error seems to lie in mixing info from two same-name men and attaching 'him' to two wives, when it's two separate men named John Fastolf, one married to Millicent Tiptoft and the other to Alice Avenal. The Wikipedia page for the husband of Millicent Tiptoft doesn't mention any other wife for him and, likewise, the Wiki page for the husband of Alice Avenal doesn't mention any other wife other wife for him.

This is the bio for the father of Alice (Fastolf) Wcyhingham:

John Fastolf of Fishley shouldn't be confused with John Fastolf of Oulton in Suffolk or his more famous cousin, Sir John Fastolf.[1]

"Julian aforesaid, on the death of Robert Avenel, remarried Nicholas Kymbell of Bedfordshire, Esq., of Bedfordshire; but it appears that she had a daughter and heir, Alice, who married John Fastolf of Fishley, in Norfolk, Esq., by whom she also had a daughter and heir, Alice, who married Edmund Wychingham of Fishley and Upton, Esq., 2d son of Nicholas de Wychingham, 2d son of William de Wychingham and Margaret his wife: this Edmund left, by the said Alice, 4 daughters and co-heirs; Elizabeth, married William Berdwell, Esq. of West Herling; Frances, to Sir William Nevill of Burscomb in Gloucestershire; Amy, to Richard Southwell of Wood Rising; and Joan to Sir Richard Longstrother, and after to Robert Boys."[2]
