King Charles, III, is my ninth cousin, even, as the closest known relationship between us, known to me, that is. Both of his parents are cousins to me. Both of his maternal grandparents are related to me. His first wife and his first daughter-in-law as well as his sister-in-law are distant cousins also relate to me.
When I checked the court of Queen Elizabeth, II.’s Coronation, nearly every person on it showed up as a distant relative. Most of those relationships go back through the Haas line of my second great grandmother, eventually to Christina Maria Sayn-Wittgenstein, followed by some name I would need to see to recall, snd then leading on to many generations. I am thankful to the people on Geni.com for making it possible to find these interesting connections.
The mother of Kristina Maria Sayne-Wittgenstein is Chsrlotte, and she is a sister to the ancestor of Queen Elizabeth II. That line surprised me when I found Royal members in a number of countries on Geni.com. It was news to me after I found known generations leading to those findings. There are other connections, but the closest relationship to King Charles, III., is this one that Geni.com has shown me.
The question posed about whether I would I join the conversation Interested me in the email message. I have wondered who else is my relative and shares these relationships. Now that I have joined the discussion, I am going to go back and enjoy reading what other people have written I answered first out of excitement because it’s such an interesting topic. Thank you all.
