Nibelung II - Father of Nibelung II de Perracy

The Father of Nibelung II de Perracy on here is noted as Childebrand III, but on may other sites it is noted as Nibelung I, with Childebrand II noted as the son of Nibelung II de Perracy. I am new to doing this research, so that any references, documuments, and help regarding this issue will be greatly appreciated.
My research shows that I am a direct ancestor of Nibelung II de Perracy and that far back I only include direct ancestors in my family tree and I want to be as accurate as I can.
