Lt. Andrew is not mentioned in the will of Capt. Andrew Newcombe, he may be a relative but probably not a son. There is a record for an Andrew Newcomb son of Thomas b.1639 Devon, England but since there is no ships record for Andrew he may have been born in America circa 1640. If so, it is more likely he was a son of Francis Newcombe for whom there is no single account of his children (no will). Some have suggested he was a brother of Francis, not impossible but the dates are problematic (and still no ships record).
