Aha!
Appears to be a duplicate of Ambrose Hammon

Consistency Check
Ambrose Hammon

More than 22 year age difference between Elizabeth Hammond (Shepard) and her husband Job Hammond.
John Hammon, Sr. born before the birth of his mother Elizabeth Hammond (Shepard).
Job Hammond, Jr. born before the birth of his mother Elizabeth Hammond (Shepard).
William Hammond born before the birth of his mother Elizabeth Hammond (Shepard).

Not a duplicate--- off by a century :/

Sorry, but this is not my lineage. I had commented on this a few years back because many people were confusing Job Hammond with Ambrose Hammon (very long story), but they are not the same person. Job Hammond is the son of John Hammond, Sr. and Ambrose is the son of John Hammon, Sr. John Hammond and John Hammon are two completely different individuals proven by DNA. I don't know why they made me a curator for this person. What I do know is that Job Hammond's father is John Hammond, Sr. and Simon Hammond is an ancestor. Not sure if Simon is Job's grandfather or great-grandfather. Again ... not my lineage. I also see that someone has listed Job's haplogoup as J-CTS11760 which is NOT correct. J-CTS11760 is the haplogroup of my lineage (John and Ambrose Hammon). I can't remember the exact haplogroup for Job, but I think's "I". I do have more information on Job's lineage somewhere. It may take me a while to find it, but I received that information from one of his devout researchers so I could help people keep Job and Ambrose separate. I'll try to find it in my pile if you have any more questions.
Rod Hammons

We have two different Job Hammond who were American patriots in the War for Independence from Britain.
They each have their own DAR number. Different dates but close.
Different states so I detached the one from the curated one with parents and hopefully the descendants of both will be able to address them further
I think the important thing is to know they were NOT the same man and they were NOT brothers
Happy Independence Day.
