Jason, you're right. I don't trust genealogieonline, roegenealogy, stamboomonderzoek, or FamilySearch for ancient historical names and data EXCEPT in rare instances when someone included supporting documentation that I can find and verify.
In middle-ages France, I've noted many deceased males named Robert with an alternate of Chrodobert. None I've seen showed ChrUodobert.
