@mariaelizabethkaiser

I've estimated her birth range as 1779 to 1798. She and Gerhard Heinrich Meyer (Meijer, Mejer) were married in Merzen, Osnabruck, Lower Saxony, Germany 2 Sep 1814 at St. Lambertus. Text from church record: Gerd Heinrich Meyer from Lengerich married Maria Elizabeth Kaiser. Witnesses: Gerd Meyer and Henrich Kemme.

I found a Maria Elizabeth Kaiser who died in 1851 in Sudmerzen according to St Lambertus death records, but not sure it's her. Still researching.

I am still looking for her death and her parents. Any help would be appreciated. Sincerely, Lynda Heines

Hi Lynda,
I have added a source for the marriage of Maria Elisabeth Meijer to Johann Bernard Mesmann and her death.
I have no further information.

Good luck in your search.

On 15-08-1861 was Maria Elisabeth already passed away and Gerhard Heinrich Meijer lived in Amerika.

Johannes, Thank you so much for this information. I am interested in this family because Gerd and Maria are my 2nd great grandparents. I have a tree on Family Search and have never received duplicate notification because they spelled Gerhard Gerd and Elizabeth Elizabein. Family search has a different marriage date for them, so now I'll be looking to find that. I know that for most of their kids, they took their mother's name - Kaiser - because of the farm although several took their father's name including Maria Elizabeth Meyer or Meijer. I was surprised about the distance from Merzen and Gehrde, although I knew a Kaiser farm was in Gehrde. Thanks again for helping. It's been a long search, and more to go. Sincerely, Lynda
