According to Geni, @Diana Frances Spencer, Princess of Wales was my 12th cousin on her mother’s side, as we are both descendants of George and Elizabeth Strong from Chard, in Somerset, England. I also saw online that Diana was a descendant of William Brewster the Elder, from the Mayflower, like my grandfather was. I’m not sure what the term is for a double cousin, but we call them 2 wheelers! We have a few 3 wheelers and 4 wheelers in the family, but Geni only shows 2 relationships at a time. Both of these distant relationships to Diana (and her sons) come from my mother’s paternal line, which has over 10,000 people. Looks like some of us may be cousins too! Geni has made so much wonderful research possible for our family. I love it! May God bless Diana’s soul and protect her family.
