Re: Mafeking, love the story of Sarel Eloff (Paul Kruger's grandson). He was a man ahead of his time.

Tangent, but my friend Dave George has a rifle named to P. Eloff that was used during the Siege of Mafeking. He is still trying to track down exactly who the rifle belonged to.
