Queen Victoria's son-in-law. His daughter married George V. The Dukes of Teck are an extinct dynasty. It is all part of my search for my Great grandfather among German Princes with Magyar ancestry.

Francis, Duke of Teck was impoverished which fits my target candidate, My grandfather would not take his money and settle in Australia as a racehorse breeder and at 16/17 ran away and joined the Army underage. The Regiment was sent to India for ten years. He was quite truculent with his paternal relatives.
