To my knowledge, not one source show his COA, so what is the sensational source for this COA? His name by modern historians is (Bjälboätten) inside brackets, he was never called Folkungaätten in any source, unless anyone can provide such? from this family, I have read some over optimistic claims that one was born, and died, in a Monastery, that a group of members of the family was named Folkungaätten and Folkunga as birth-name which is completely untrue, and I think Theres a need to increase the level of serious genealogy approach.

Gerene, It IS me who uploaded the COA as well as editing the article and as you can see here https://sv.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Magnus_minnesk%C3%B6ld&a... I created the first version of the article in 2002-12-07T06:12:47‎

But I have never written that any of the mentioned COA on that page was his COA, I have written that the COA is unknown

The two coa I uploaded there, are the two types of COA used by his children with two different wives, those two types of coa has been connected to groups of children he had with his two different wives,

since no source except my article has been noted for the coa, I remove it, its a fabrication and not true.

Pardon me, but what does COA stand for? Excuse my ignorance. I am a direct descendant so trying to follow. I have everything from Course of Action to Certificate of Authenticity when I google it.

Do you mean Coat of Arms?

6/23/2021 at 8:08 PM

Yes, COA stands for Coat of Arms.
