Robert the Bruce be my 20th GGF. Discovering my blood tue to him a couple if years ago prompted my major interest in Geni and searching for more of my ancestors

And also both Johnny Cash and his wife, June Carter Cash are related to me. He is my 18th cousin, and she my 16th cousin 2x removed. Well well.

And according to Geni Robert I the Bruce, King of Scots is June Carter Cash's 19th great grandfather.

There was an episode of finding your roots recently that featured Roseanne Cash. It was mentioned that Johnny was very well aware of his Scottish ancestry. So his wife’s side was explored which was quite interesting.

According to my family tree, Robert the Bruce is my 23rd Great grandfather. My line comes from a grand daughter, a daughter of Robert II who married a knight with the last name of Logan

My dad will be tickled pink to find out we are related to Johnny Cash.
