All I know is her About section says she wasn't married to Samuel Pounds, says the Y-DNA doesn't fit. Of course it won't fit her, so I'm 'assuming' that means they've proven her children weren't biological Pounds. I don't know the lines, just read what was in the About section about that and noticed there is no Pounds husband attached. If they were never married, she wouldn't have used the Pounds surname, I wouldn't think. One of the children is listed as William Pounds Lott. I don't know if they were all biological Lotts, but that seems to be the implication of the comments in the About section.
I'm just noticing and bringing attention to the scenario. I don't have all the answers. Whoever put the notes in the About section seems to know quite a bit about them though.
Ishaw Pounds actual name on record is aa it appears in Geni.
The reason the signatory of the Kingston Co court petition, William Lott is listed as a the dad, is because he spelled his name that way and the three sons actually interchangeably in Halifax Va land flip of first property spelled their name as Pouns at that time.
This is a correct and painstakingly and costly y DNA name insertion based on Lee Pounds, FtDna Pounds Project counsel.

I think I understand, the information changing. There doesn't seem to be anything I am able to do to change anything here on Geni. Rev Isom Price Pounds is my fourth great grandfather. I now, somehow have duplicate profiles for Margaret Parker, with supposedly two sets of parents. There are duplicate profiles for my third great grandmother, Margaret Louisa Collins Seal, one shows her as my third great grandmother, the master profile shows her as a distant cousin. I do not know what happened here. I do not seem to be able to merge, or correct anything here. I believe the information Linda Carr Buchholz, is correct, on this matter. I'd really appreciate any help I could get at, possibly correcting my tree, and getting me back connected with the family. Thanks, Pam
