I have found a couple of articles that refer to her as Judith CARTER...any knowledge my friends?

I believe Wormley was her maiden name.

My 6th great-grandmother is Judith Wormeley (d. 1716 in childbirth) dtr. of Hon. Ralph Wormeley
of 'Rosegill' & Elizabeth Armistead. Our family descends from Maria Judith Page who married Col. William Randolph. My 7th gg aunt is Judith Armistead dtr. of John Armistead & Judith Bowles Robinson. She married Robert 'King' Carter in 1688. You can find these lines on my website: pixleyblair.tribalpages.com Type a name into the Search box and click.

Two different Judith's.

The one that married Colonel Robert "King" Carter, I is Judith Carter

Judith Armstead Page married Mann Page I of Rosewell

Note also that Robert "King" Carter & Judith Armistead had a daughter _also_ named Judith who _also_ married that same Mann Page, I after his first wife Judith Wormley died.

(Some folks have conflated Mann Page's 2 wives and their children, which can lead to confusion as to which Judith is which...)
