Benjamin Hore, 1689. - Wrong birth year

The Benjamin Hore who was born on July 06, 1689 died as an infant and was buried on 23 Feb 1689 (1690 if going by Gregorian calendar). His burial record states that this mother was a widow at this death. Indeed, there is a burial record for a John was buried on 4 April 1689 in the same parish where Benjamin was baptized and buried (Roche). Therefore, it is unlikely that John Hore was the father of the Benjamin Hore who married Ann Rogers. It is more probable that this Benjamin's father was Lancelot Hore who was buried on 30 March 1731, since in Lancelot's will, he bequeaths assets to his son Benjamin and Benjamin's children who are unfortunately not named. The baptism record of his Benjamin Hore son of Lancelot has not yet been transcribed and thus cannot be found at the OPC database. This Lancelot Hore is in turn likely the son of the Lancelot Hore who's will was written in Jan 1672/73 and who's burial record is also not transcribed because of its absence in the OPC database. The will of this Lancelot mentions a son John who may be the John has been incorrectly attributed as the father of this Benjamin Hore. This second Lancelot may be the son of Stephen who was baptized in 1601.
