Just to let you know, the Osborne Coat of Arms you are using belongs to Sir Richard Osborne, 1st baronet of Waterford, Tipperary, Ireland. He was born 1593-1667. The Coat of Arms was established in 1620.

I have been separating the families of the Osborne's in England. In the 1600's all three were made baronets. The family in Chicksands, the family of the Duke of Leeds starting with Sir Edward Osborns, 1st Baronet of Kiveton and the father of Thomas Osborne, 1st Duke of Leeds. And finally the Osbornes of Waterford, Tipperary, Ireland. The Coat of Arms, if properly used, is how to tell which family we have and are talking about.

Chicksands created 1662
Kiveton Baronets created July 13, 1620
Waterford, Tipperary, Ireland created 1629

The line from Chicksands and Kiveton are cousins through Sir Peter Osborn and Lady Eme "Essex" Bourchier. Eme is the 2nd great grand daughter of Edward III King of England. While Thomas Osborne the 1st Duke of Leeds comes down the lineage of Sir Edward Osborne and Ann Hewett, his brother Sir Thomas Richard of Ashford, Kent England b. 1468 is the line that the Americans come from descending through his grandson Thomas Osborne b. 1594/5 and Mary Goatley.

There is another line of Osbornes in Kelemarsh and Doddington. This line begins with Richard Osborne, Esquire that married a daughter of Lyllingstone of Darrell Co., Lovell, Bucks. His coat of arms was also the cross however it was engrailed.

The Doddington Osbornes is a continuation of the family from Kelemarsh. Descending from Moreis/ Maurice.

Captain Thomas Osborne of Coxendale is believed to be related to Thomas Osborne b. 1594/5 that married Mary Goatley as maybe a distant cousin by going back a few more generations. This is yet to be proven.
