Elizabeth Collier (Cresap) - Death Location for Elizabeth (Cresap) Collier

I suspect given the confusion among Collier descendants as to their lineage, several Collier's had Michael Collier marrying his mother in lieu of Elizabeth Parker 1766-aft 1826, daughter of Nathaniel Parker 1724-1811 and Elizabeth Scott. Elizabeth (Parker) Collier died aft 1826, thus the 1826 death date.

Thus the multiple DAR submissions for Michael Collier having married Elizabeth Cresap, and the DAR now only recognizing Isaac Collier as the husband of Elizabeth Cresap.

This is reinforced by:Jonathan Jacobs 1826 book A Biographical Sketch of the life of the late Captain Michael Cresap wherein he stated:

""Elizabeth, the youngest daughter of Colonel Thomas Cresap, was married to a Mr. Isaac Collier, from Pennsylvania, who was a rather dissipated character. They are both dead, but left several children, who reside in the States of Kentucky, Ohio and Alabama, and all of them are wealthy and respectable."

Jonathan Jacobs said "They are both dead" BUT left several children who reside in the States of KY., OH & AL He does not state Isaac & ELizabeth Cresap Collier migrated, just their children.

This morning I found the mis-transcribed 1810 Shelby Co., KY. census record for the Isaac Collier in early Shelby Co., KY. He had 3 sons under the age of 10 and 1 daughter under the age of 10 which matches the known children for Isaac & Jincy (Willis) Collier, son of Michael Collier and Elizabeth Parker.

I've also edited FamilySearch, Wikitree and WeRelate profiles tand added this statement:

Isaac and Elizabeth (Cresap) Collier's last proven location was in that portion of Frederick County, MD that became Washington County, MD. in 1776 and in 1789 became Allegany Co., MD. Oldtown (aka Cresaptown) is now located in Allegany CO., PM.
