However, the Geni connection for her husband Thomas Gibson is that of the son of Jane 'the Elder' Gibson (Chevers), not a brother. Jane 'the Edler's brother would have surname Chevers (or variation thereof) rather than Gibson in any case.
Just wanting to confirm if Elizabeth is supposed to have been the wife of Jane's son or one her brothers, or even both. I'm not understanding why this is saying she married a Chevers but then her sons have the surname Gibson. ?

If she was born a Chevers and married a Chavis, wouldn't her sons have had one of those surnames instead of Gibson?
