What historical records do you use if not for the Bible, Walter? Just curious if you even know of reliable sources that date that far?

I'd suggest putting a note into the profile indicating that Methuselahs' age is "according to the Bible;" people can take it or leave it as they wish. Not everyone on this site is Jewish or Christian, and not all Christians take the Bible literally anyway. Certainly there are atheists and agnostics, Muslims, Hindus, Buddhists, etc. on Geni.com. We're not here to push worldviews!
