I removed the image because that being used was adopted by the Beaumont Earls of Leicester, but was in fact only used by the fourth earl who died in 1204. The age of heraldry, although open to discussion, began about 1200. Many of the early armorials were drawn and/or published between 1200 and 1300. The first three Earls died well before 1200.
