Singleton Argus (NSW: 1880 - 1954), Friday 16 April 1943, page 2 DEATH OF MR. E. W. NEILSON Mr. Edward William Neilson, aged 76, and well-known and respected resident of this district passed away in Dangar Cottage Hospital during this morning. On Thursday last deceased underwent an operation. Born at Dunolly, the late Mr. Neilson spent practically the whole of his life around Jerry's Plains, being employed by Plashett Pastoral Co. for a number of years. He recently retired from active work. In his earlier days he was a road contractor. In addition to his wife, he is survived by four children, viz., Mr. Alfred Neilson (Sydney), Frederick (A.M.F.), and Mesdames G. Austin (Singleton) and E. Farrell (Muswellbrook). The funeral will be conducted to-morrow afternoon, service being set down to take place at All Saints' at 3 o'clock. The remains will be interred at Whittingham
