A note on the CoA of Montmorency. The arms shown originally here, which I left a copy of in the media tab for reference, are incorrect. The arms with 4 eagles displayed in each of the four quadrants were adopted after the Battle of Bouvines in 1214. The correct arms before that date are with one eagle displayed in each of the four quadrants.
