These arms for this generation I show as the Ancient arms of Stafford. I usually look for a logical generation about 1250 to change from ancient to modern. But this place where the son of Millicent Stafford and Henry Bagot seems to have changed his surname to Stafford is a logical time to adopt the Stafford arms and to change them. I am still working through documentation of this change.
