I can understand you don't want false merges for Catharine if this 8s a common problem but this is no reason to close the whole family of origin from merges. This is not common and does not come automatically with main profiles. This blocks a lot if work and information. Please open her Siblings and parents profiles. This is not Geni anymore. Private family trees are better kept in private computers.

please try to translate, what is written in Katarinas profile:
* Profiili lukittu, kunnes löytyy sopiva ratkaisu Katariinan suvusta. Profiili aukaistaan heti, jos jollain on esittää uusia lähteitä, todisteita asian ratkaisemiseksi."

We all are building these family trees together in Geni, but some times some profiles must be "locked" to avoide false merges.

I am sorry, but I don't admine this profile. I am just following it, because she is my 8th great grandmother, if the profile and the tree are correct.
