English version of the page

All users when they join Geni have their language setting defaulted to English, until a user learns that they can change their preferences they will only see Projects in the default English version.

The English (default) version of this project is actually text from a completely different project. So a new user who has yet to discover the language options will see none of the information that is presented in the Dutch version of this project. Ironically the English project which has been copied into this project does mention there is a Dutch language project and even has a link to this project, however, because the new user may still be in default view the link just creates a circular path back to itself.

The English version of this project should be an actual translation of the Dutch version with an obvious note at the top explaining that there is a Dutch version with a very concise explanation of how to reach it if the user is still in the default setting.
