The ship manifest from 1907 at
https://www.libertyellisfoundation.org/passenger-details/czoxMjoiMT... lists the 33-year-old Ester traveling with her 45-year-old husband Schaie, 15-year-old tailoress daughter Sonja and 4 other children - Basie (11), Luisa (8), Mordko (6) and Bljuma (5) - to the USA. They sailed from Libau (Liepāja, today in western Latvia, back then a major port of the Russian Empire) on board the S.S. Saratow on 25 June, arriving on 13 July. Ester is listed as illiterate; her husband and daughter could read and write. Their final destination is listed as Carmel NY, where Schaie's brother-in-law worked for Merochnik & Son. Ester is described as 5 foot 2, with brown hair, blue eyes and a light complexion.

lists a 13-year-old Ester Burd traveling with the 18-yaer-old domestic Doba Burd on board the S.S. Kursk, again from Libau, on 27 May 1913. Their last place of residence is listed as Selenyzog, near Kiev and Ester's mother is lsited as Judis Burd.
As with the journey listed above, the tickets were paid for by Ester's father and the two were in possession of $25. Their destination was the father, listed as H. Friedman, living at 408 Christopher St, Brooklyn.
I don't know whether all these Ester Burds are the same person, of course.
