OK, I'm confused (likely. . . sure seems so), John Drummond's mother is a sister of his grandfather Malcolm's wife?

It looks like there's a generation missing. The Drummond family have firm birth dates; the Grahams are "circa", which is rather broad.

Patrick Graham - geni says ca 1235; FAG gives 1260

Lady Annabella Graham - ca. 1299 (geni) This would make Patrick 64 at her birth

Margaret Graham - ca. 1279 (geni)

Patrick Graham m. Annabella of Strathearn. Geni says her birth is "estimated between 1219 - 1273. Family Search states 1235

@Erica Howton is the curator of some of these profiles. Maybe she can help!

Any clarification on this? I wonder about all of that, too.

I'm reading through this book to see if I can make any sense of those generations: https://play.google.com/books/reader?id=3iswAAAAYAAJ&printsec=f...

Looking at the generations preceding Annabella Drummond starting with her father John Drummond (11th Thane of Lennox) back to Malcolm Beg Drummond, I see differences between Geni.com and book "The Genealogy of the Most Noble and Ancient House of Drummond". Here are the discrepancies just in these few generations:

Generations according to Geni:

John 11th of Lennox, son of
Malcolm, son of
Sir Malcolm, 6th Seneschal, son of
Malcolm Beg

Generations according to "The Genealogy of the Most Noble and Ancient House of Drummond (pp. 260-261): Start on p. 261 at https://play.google.com/books/reader?id=3iswAAAAYAAJ&printsec=f... and scroll up from there:

Sir John, son of
Sir Malcolm, son of
Sir Malcolm, son of
Sir John, son of
Malcolm, son of
Malcolm Beg

The book suggests that 2 generations are missing. What are your thoughts?

I uploaded the chart.

The idea would be to attach to profiles.

I find the chart difficult.

James Arthur Johnson - I think I figured out the missing generations and got the Drummond tree sorted correctly, please check.

I worked from Sir John Drummond, 11th of Lennox to Malcolm “Beg”

https://www.geni.com/path/Sir-John-Drummond-11th-of-Lennox+is+relat...

I think this matches your pedigree.

Sir John Drummond, 11th of Lennox
→ Sir Malcolm Drummond, 10th Thane of Lennox
his father → Malcolm Drummond, 9th Thane of Lennox
his father → Sir John Drummond, 8th Thane of Lennox
his father → Sir Malcolm Drummond, 7th Thane of Lennox
his father → Malcolm Beg (the Little) Drummond, Chamberlain of Lennox
his father

Thank you Erica Howton! And that document is from the book I referenced. It looks like things line up. I will check it out, too. Thanks again!
