Bathsheba Howe may be the same person as Bethia Howe, rather than a twin. Bathsheba married John Dixwell who went by the name James Davids (to hide his identity as a regicide). It seems unlikely that a twin sister would marry a man with such a similar names, James Davis. Possibly a confusion? Although I can’t explain the other husband, John Dixon.

You are entirely correct. Thank you for the good catch.

Sometimes, new users copy from distorted online sites and I believe this may have happened in this instance.

The two profiles had identical birth and death dates and only a Bathsheba or Bathshua Howe is attested.

I have made both John Dixwell and Bathsheba Howe Master Profiles (MPs) and have added a bit of information and locked fields and relationship. I added two children of that marriage.

I had never heard of John Dixwell but I am a cousin of Bathsheba Howe and a direct Howe descendant (of her uncle I believe), so this caught my eye.
