Have you ever been to Mount Vernon, Erica?

No, is it wonderful?

I is wonderful! I have been there twice. Once when I was a child and the second time was in my 20's. It was a long time ago. I need to go again. :) It's only a half hour from where I live. I have no excuses!

In the mean time, this visual tour is nice.

I have been there and I can tell you it is a place of enlightenment and wonder. Science is paramount in restoration and decoration so what you are looking at is exactly what our first President looked it. The wonder is brought out by Martha's life as a widow of a very rich slave owner, and the owner of slaves herself and the wife of the President. How did she reconcile her persona with ownership of humans? Teaser: Clock upstairs....
