Query on twins

There is only a marriage and name change record for Ferenc or Ferencz born Sept 1886 and nothing for Franz.. It is hardly likely that the same couple had a further child that year,

Looking at the revision history for Franz - On 21/8/2013 Ferencz Foti (Fischer) was merged into franz (Foti (Fischer)) fischer

So there is just 1 child not 2

Problem now is that Franz has a death date of 17/10/1887 aged 1 month with no source however we know that he was alive in 1909 and 1914

Is it possible that 17/10/1887 is a baptism date rather than a death date?

Forgot to follow this up.
It would be most unusual for 2 Jewish parents to get a child of theirs baptised. If the provider of the information can supply a link to their source, that would settle the issue, but by the look of it, they are mistaken.
