Just shows that Bett and Bell can be confused.

It's strange that Thomas did not mention Grace in his will, since he mentioned so many other relatives and friends. She supposedly outlived him (1705). So I wonder if she was a servant in another Roxbury household?

I’m not sure we can make a conclusion about Grace from reading Thomas Bell & Susanna Bells Wills other than she was not a near relative or close friend. Which is a lot of progress in my mind.

I do think it suggests more strongly that Grace came over as a servant in a Roxbury & Puritan household.

Yes, that makes sense. I was reading a couple of other wills to see if she was mentioned at all. (I believe it was Susanna Bell that left something to her maid Mary, providing Mary was still with her at the time of her death.) So far nothing.
