Emily Kent Marget I like looking at parents etc of American Colonists because it gives me a chance to review the notes & genealogy. This one is definitely on my plate.

Cpt. John Reed He has two sets of parents.

Here is another Gedcom upload creating duplicates. The tops of the duplicate trees are the following people and their spouses:

There are many more duplicates as you go down the tree.

And both sets of parents for Cpt. John Reed were wrong. I merged him into the MP & disconnected whoever those other guys are, Private User - you will find them again on the revisions tab.

Erica, this tree is a mess, probably due to bad merges. He's marrying other women in the same year he's having children with a wife who didn't die for another 20 years. He had 4 sets of twins in a row, and then triplets. I'm not sure where the problem is, but there is one.

I’ve set up a profile called John Sheldon, of Pawtuxet with children I am not sure belong to John Sheldon, Jr., of South Kingstown if anyone can help resolve that line.

Private User The children of Hannah Sheldon look sorted. However the family of Elizabeth Sheldon could use more work if you’re interested; there’s a citation in profile for parents and she’s missing children from both marriages.

Erica Howton, this one might be quick and easy. She had 3 children before the age of 12. Two of them are MPs with locked fields. I'm thinking the dates might just be due to the time period and dates during that time always being a little sketchy. .

This William Griffith was probably not a child of Elizabeth Griffith so i disconnected.

Hannah Bostwick belongs to Ebenezer Fiske, of New Milford (MP) and his wife if Dowling (https://gw.geneanet.org/tdowling?lang=en&p=hannah&n=fiske&a...) is correct.

Her marriage and issue info are fine.

The error was here. Mehitable Fiske was not the wife of Ebenezer Fiske, of Lexington

Fixed.

Part 2 of the Fisk problem - https://www.findagrave.com/memorial/16639481/ebenezer-fisk does NOT mention a Mehitable Fiske as a wife for Ebenezer Fiske, of Lexington.

Despite the data discrepancies it looks like a good merge to me.

The profile managers would need to refine and source.

There is an entire tree loaded 4/29/19 up from elizabeth deming, Dup tree do not merge that is duplicating profiles already in Geni. Grrr. I know it crosses into "Medieval".
