I need help with William Allen.... I have him as passing after 1860 in Monroe, Walton County. I know he had a son named Earley Allen, who married Jane Dial..... however, I fear this may have been merged in error.

Dan Cornett.... I absolutely have no clue... I know that Earley is my 4th Great Grandfather.... However, I know that his father supposedly died in Virginia... but it doesn't seem it is the same father....

In the 1840 Census... William A Allen is listed as living in the Allens District, Walton Georgia... However... the William A Allen that Geni shows died in Virginia ...

I believe that these are 2 different men named the same thing.... one supposedly married a Margaret Rich... Mine I know is Jane Dial.... from the Martin Colville Dial line

I would suggest send the “dupes” for deletion.
BASS is very difficult without adding more confusion with merging unsourced profiles
