Martha Morton's death date is now corrected to match her tombstone info, and now the children's birthdates work fine. She being 40 years younger isn't very unusual for such a healthy old eccentric gentleman.

Looks like the duplicate William Joshua Hudsons may need to be remerged, but not until we get his parents and siblings right. His dates don't line up with theirs. I have a feeling he's not really my 6th g-uncle, and that his parents are actually unknown at this point.

Erica, here's a picture of his family tombstone which fortunately lists all three of his wives and indicates how many children he had with each one.

He should be disconnected from his MP'd parents, as the dates are way off. I don't know how he ended up there, but it doesn't matter because it's incorrect. I'll try to fix it myself, but don't know if I can with the locking on their profiles.

The top My Heritage tree for him has his parents as William Joshua Hudson and Robin Hudson (born Hill). I don't find them here at all, now looking for proof elsewhere.

I may have missed something, but found no proof for his parents. The data given in some sites is purely anecdotal (according to WikiTree), and I don't know how the person who provided that information is related to the family.

Private User - I agree, the profiles listed at https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Hudson-11062 don’t give us enough information to determine if they were the parents of William Joshua Hudson or not, particularly given the possible South Carolina birth. Heroic job sorting the tree, thank you.

Adah Emery has two husbands. One is her father (Joshua) and one is her actual husband (John). This was caused by the 2010 update (I can't believe how that updates still haunts us from time-to-time!)

Also, Lt. John Emery is attached as the husband of Adah Emery but should be the husband of Adah (Emery) Emery the daughter of Adah Emery.

Yes, this had gotten more confused than it looked at first. And, the sources were screwy also.

the Emery book has Adah2 (there’s an Adah3 also, Mary Scammon’s daughter) dead in 1765. But Adah2 was having children until 1768.
maybe because of Adah3, Stackpole listed Adah2 as widow of James Dunning. But that was John Emery’s 2nd wife.

Erica Howton is that FS link actually from MH?

Ever since I renewed my MH account, I can't use the FS links. I get the following error. I haven't tried to resolve it yet, but it seems to indicate it's a problem with my computer, but I haven't changed ay settings.
