I'm not sure what's going on in this tree, so I'll just have to explain what I'm seeing.

I noticed there was a merge done on Thomas Richards

Here is the merge. Note that the one I manage is SIR Thomas Richards, KT. Even though they look like the should have been merged, I'm thinking it's because someone added parents to him, which matched the parents on the left, but I'm not sure that's correct. https://www.geni.com/merge/view?revision_id=85783301390

Either way, Thomas had a child when he was 14, but didn't marry until age 30, then had a child and marriage after his death, even though both attached wives significantly outlived him.

The other odd thing is that when the merge was done, Thomas had two brothers named John. One was John II and one was John Richards of New London. They had been merged at one point, but then unmerged, so I'm not sure if this is a "hangover" from the unmerging.

William Henry, Sr. William Henry--- very common name-- has three daughters named Mary (doubtful):

Mary "Polly" Williams
Mary "Mollie" Miears
Mary ‘Polly’ Owens

Furthermore, Elizabeth Henry has two husbands same name but different--- this should resolve the Mary daughters issue?:

I'm not sure how to proceed in repairing the damage that was done to this Revolutionary War soldier's profile.

It was merged on April 18, 2024 with a May 13, 2022 import which had been connected and altered several times prior. Profiles were deleted, and the merged profiles have completely different parents.

I am seeing lots of problems with this entire branch of the tree...no parents, duplicate parents, two or three sets of parents, screwy birth years, death years, and places of birth and death, wrong name spellings...you get the idea. And this is only the Hoffman line I was looking at until I saw all the others.

Assistance is needed on finding where this profile for Nancy Hannah. belongs.

She is Not a member of the Captain Samuel Cochran file (where she currently resides).

The DAR records identified their Nancy, as Nancy Cochran who married Frederick Oyler and she is already on the tree.

It looks as if she possibly came aboard on the last merge of duplicates.

I cannot figure out if that is so; however, none of that Cochran family were from Tazewell Co.,VA either.

Family Search has a profile for a Nancy Hannah with similar dates, but different locations + she was born a Hannah:
