John Nunn

John Nunn
Gender: Male
Birth: 1660
Lancaster County, Virginia, United States
Death: 1700 (39-40)
Chesterfield County, Virginia, United States
Immediate Family:
Son of John Nunn and Elizabeth Nunn

Wife needs merged or disconnected.
We have discussed NUNN before ...
this one is a direct for me.
Can we fix and MP?

Cynthia Curtis, A183502, US7875087 - we need about notes before making MP, otherwise it’s not fair to curators, who have no information to support the profile. I’ll merge the dup wives Mary Nunn

https://www.geni.com/merge/view?revision_id=74207498950 - Mary who married John Nunn looks to be a different person from Mary Rockhould who married John Rockhold

Mary (Richardson) Rockhould is sourced.

Erica Howton understood and absolutely agree.
I know we have worked on NUNN before when they were smashed with Nunnely and I ran into this one today after not looking at it for some time (2019 I merged in)
I am grateful for the help and will revisit
I knew they are no where near being ready for MP so did not post in the Please MP discussion. :)
1660's is way outside my "wheel house" lol but feels like important enough profiles and hopefully sources are available

I’ll see if I can find anything on them.

Thank you, Erica Howton

Children of Sgt. Samuel Fuller all have two parents - Samuel, and also unknown. No way to clean up the second incorrect parents. Any ideas?

BUG. For example Seth Fuller show unknown parent without ability to disconnect.

I’ll try undo merges. If that doesn’t work, need a ticket.

Fixed.

thanks!

This one is beyond me.
Mary "Marie" Marvin (MP) is attached to the incorrect parents. She is, in fact, a duplicate of Sarah Sill (also MP)
The conundrum is not helped by FAG - https://www.findagrave.com/memorial/36075961/sarah-marvin_sill which has her parents and birthdate incorrrect.
From the will of George Clark, II - farmer posted to his profile, it is clear that Mary "Marie" Marvin (MP) belongs to George the farmer. (The other George died intestate.)

Sarah Clark had been mixed up with Marie Marvin, her mother in law.

I’ll look for an undo merge.

There have been issues regarding the parents of this profile. I've added a source under the source tab, filled in the data and tagged all of the appropriate profiles. I'd like to have him MPd and relationship locked, please.

Josiah Rockwell, II

Erica Howton - Thanks for cleaning up the Clark mess.

Private User - Josiah Rockwell, II is mastered and relationship locked.

Conflicting fathers, is it James (b. 1603 Ireland - d. 1803 Frankfurt, KY) or John (b. 1675)?

Janet Stuart

These merges were incorrect and have confused John Garth and John Gerard. The oldest one is from 2016, so I'm not sure if it can be undone. If not, some of the managers have lost their line.

John Gerard is a DAR patriot. He only had two wives; Mehatible and Mary.https://services.dar.org/Public/DAR_Research/search_descendants/?ac...

John Garth was married to Rachel. He has two Rachels attached; Rachel Smith and Rachel Anderson. John Garth was born in England, not VA, but he lived in VA. As near as I can tell, this is the John Garth he's supposed to be - John Garth, Jr. but his wife Rachel has a last name of Holcombe. Here's his DAR record - https://services.dar.org/Public/DAR_Research/search_descendants/?ac...

Private User - re Janet Stuart

https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Brown-1060

Janet is the daughter of James and Jennet (Stevenson) Brown. Her known siblings are the Rev. James and Rev. John Brown. She married Archibald Stuart about 1720

Private User - John Garth, Jr. separated from Rev. John Gerrard the latter is work-in-progress. The former is made MP and source citations added.

Erica Howton

Re: Rev. John Gerrard

Since Gerrardstown was named after him and his name on the historic sign names him as John Gerrard, should that be the spelling, instead of Garard?

Should use DAR naming for genealogy if we don’t know otherwise, which is Gerrard. Maybe for display name.

Sorry, DAR calls him “Garrard.”

Thank you for calling attention to that Garrard / Garth snarl, Private User

Both trees look better now then they ever did.

Phebe Marsh

Phebe Gilman

I just untangled these two. Please MP to prevent merging. I have pretty good sources on Phebe Gilman. They're definitely different, since one is from Ohio and the other one from NH.

Private User - edited some dates, added some citations, straightened up around Elizabeth Strachan

Samuel Blakeslee, II

His mother's husband is supposed to be his father, but the father has a relationship lock and it won't let me set him as his parent. I don't know anything about the line, just came across it while merging.

Private User - Samuel Blakeslee, II and his siblings are properly attached to their father.
