He's born after his father's death. There's a data conflict (death dates) on his father, but it's locked so will need a curator to resolve the inconsistency.

these MP are duplicates. She was the sister of Nathaniel, who married the sister of her husband. See page 103 of the Avery book under children of Joseph Minor and wife Marie Avery at Stonington.

I also look at attached discussions and check the other collaborative / public sites, if need be. For Colonial America, Wikitree, WeRelate and FamilySearch.

In the case of Stephen Crane I see no reason at all not to do as curator advised - detach parente. I’ll also lock relationships.

Thanks again, Erica. Honestly I didn't notice the curator note that time (was getting tired, lol). I suspected it should be parents unknown, but the conflicting claims in the About had me going.

I have a FS tree that gives her birth date as 1710, and has different parents, so I changed her parents, but her dates are locked.

Her daughter Sabra Welch 's profile is curated by Private User as well and I have been merging from bottom up due to a recent import which involved Rev. John Howard Byrd and now that the Gedcom upload appears complete, I am seeing errors/ too different to merge wanna-be-duplicates but maybe NOT...
