Private User - Thanks for showing the problem with Peter Norton (son of Isaac Norton, Jr.) & Peter Norton

I believe the 2 Peter's are the same. This is a direct line for me. FS has my Peter as child of Isaac and Hannah Norton (parents have a cousin relationship.) I was looking at my 2 Mayhew lines and curious why it wasn't showing both relationships so I started following the tree down to figure out why the line wasn't connected. I just checked FS to see if what they have is what I have found. https://www.familysearch.org/tree/person/details/G6SZ-TFY I will say with the 2nd wife I believe maiden name is Mann but she was married to a Barnard before she married to Peter Norton. I've seen a few different death dates (1820 and 1825) but also a Peter Norton maybe on a census record for 1830 in Maine. It might be a child but I'm not sure. I don’t think either was the father of David Holcombe ll?

However, his about claims:

Oops merge was good, one set of parents were wrong.

Lt. Nathaniel Holcombe Sr. & Mary Holcombe did not have a son Joshua.

The one on the left seems to have some issues. She was born in PA, but her father was born and died in NC, she has 21 children (many without dates or other information) and two husbands with very similar last names.

Yet another user is messing with the Washington line - All were added today, manually. (Many of you know my feelings about this.)
Colonel Joseph Ball, of "Epping Forest" Augustine Washington, Sr. Capt. Lawrence Washington & Col. Nathaniel Pope have all been duplicated with their spouses and one child down to George Washington, 1st President of the United States

Private User - Regarding Mary "Polly" (Garrett) Cowan and Mary "Polly" (Garrett) Putman I need more info on marriages in Laurens County, South Carolina about 1829 to 1831 before I will release the master to facilitate the merge.

I suspect that they are the same person. I would prefer to verify it with a record of Mr. Putnam marrying Mrs. (widow) Cowan.
