Private User - done.

Could this master profile be unlocked for corrections, specifically the title and suffix fields

Deborah Ann TOWER - Please advise what you would like it to be.
I'm thinking Col. for the "title" and just Sr. for the "suffix."

Emily Kent Marget--

That would be correct

I did two merges on Jacob Christman a Swiss immigrant to PA, who now has similar but conflicting parents. I have no sources for Swiss people.

Here are the two merges I did.

Re dup tree to Col. Valentine Crawford - working on it.

I really can't decide if they're the same. The father on the right only has 2 children listed in his bio and she's not one of them. The one on the left is sourced, but there are no dates in the source.

If they're not the same, we probably need some MPs to prevent future possible merges.

Private User - they do not feel right to me. My usual suggestion: source first, merge later.

Yes, I was working on the Diana Howard tree yesterday. Sources conflict.

All of the online trees I looked at have him married to his half sister, Amy Hewitt. They share a mother, Comfort Billings, daughter of Joseph Billings. Amy is definitely the granddaughter of Joseph, because she is mentioned in his will as "my granddaughters ... Amy Killam" https://www.ancestry.com/sharing/1607785?mark=7b22746f6b656e223a223... (already added to Joseph's profile under the source tab)

Amy's father is Jonas Hewitt, as mentioned in his will.

I beleive this is the Mary Palmer listed in Jonas's will. Mary Hewitt

Private User - I’m working on the Maj. Anthony Robinson tree. Brothers John & Anthony had been conflated. I’m still not clear on Anthony’s wife, so this will take more research.

Private User - quite sure half siblings never (legally) married in Colonial America, but step siblings rather often. Also, be careful with Will data. Son in law was used for step son, for instance.

I don’t see how Comfort Hewitt had any time in her life to marry Nathaniel Killam She was the 1st wife of Jonas Hewitt & her children, including Amey Kallam were named in his Will. https://www.wikitree.com/photo/pdf/Billings-258

Detached her as mother of Luther Kallam

Jonas Hewitt was born on 2 Nov 1737, to Elkanah Hewitt and Hannah (Sterry) Hewitt, in Stonington.[1]

Third Marriage

He married 3rd Mary Palmer (?) who was previously married to _________. (have to find that again).

Inscription
"In memory of Mary Hewit Relict of Jonas Hewit who died Dec. 2, 1836 Aged 92. She was formerly the wife of Isair Cook"
Gravesite Details
Taken from "Cemetery Inscriptions in the town of Preston" - researched by Marion Hall

Erica Howton I knew I saw something that said Mary was married to both of them, but then I lost track of it and couldn't find it, because I thought it was from Ancestry, so I'm glad you came across it.

I didn't think she was actually married to her half brother and it's good to know she wasn't!

Thanks for your help.

Nathaniel Killam Is definitely an obscure character, it would be nice to find out more. Could be a misspelling?

<selfishly looking at the names to see if any are in my close fam garden >
