Need help merging Colonial Americans?

Martha A Adams (Hearne) was the daughter of John Hearne II & Mary Elizabeth Ann "Annie" Chesney - or so sayeth the "About" section of her profile & Family Search.

The real problem is that the parents on the tree have locked fields & even more problematic is that the mother on the tree claims the mother's name is not known.

According to her father's DAR# A053901 John Hearne, Patriot, her name is only signed with an X & probably why the profile reads as it does.

Because this series of merges is stalled, nobody can do anything until these issues are resolved.

Could some kind Curator please look at this profile & see what you can figure out? Thanks in advance!

She’s not listed as a child at https://services.dar.org/Public/DAR_Research/search_adb/?action=ful..., nor is there another record presented for her origins.

Thank you for doing the merge, however, RE John Plumbe, of Wethersfield & New London

When you did the merge there are a couple of problems with the children:
1) These need to be merged:
** Benoni Plumb, Sr. &
** Benoni Plumb, Sr.

2) I don't think these 2 children belong with these parents & they have nothing in their about section that will help to verify the info. Nothing in John or his wife's profile indicate that these children are their's either.
** Dorothy Prindle
** Elizabeth Hickox

I would appreciate it if you or another curator would take a closer look at these profiles.

Patricia Ann Scoggin - yes, Elizabeth & Dorothy Plumb belonged with the Milford Plumbs, who also seem to have a Benoni Plumb, Sr. (should be checked).

Private User - isolated DUP John Hays

Can anyone who is looking for dup tree branches please edit in a DUP comment it possible (wasn’t in this case, it was unconnected) and most especially, a link to where the “real” profile is? With a 1753 birth date, it very well could be “new to geni” profiles (despite the messy Gedcom), so I’ve been asked to keep those, if possible.

Careful: Gedcom upload still in progress. I did a fair amount of merging. The Gedcom has coherent dates & locations.

The FS tree sources have the mother as Elizabeth, so I think the one on the right is correct.

Samuel Kendall, Jr. got his parents Thomas Kendall and Ruth Kendall They are clearly incorrect from the source at Family Search: https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/3:1:3QS7-8979-HBWP?i=36&cc=.... Parents look wrong for James Boles At least for Bowles who married Mary Edwards.

I did the above merge, which matched, as did other profiles, but it had conflicting parents.

Based on the note on the MP header, I cut off the new parents, but now see that the existing parents were too young to have been his parents, so who should the parents be, or should there be no parents, if they can't be proven.

This is part of an unfinished merge I found. The one on the left is a MP, but there are no notes or sources. If she really had all of those husbands, the children would overlap if merged.
