The du Plessis line.

Dr Jean Prieur du Plessis, SV/PROG, said to be a descendant from, amongst others:
St Louis IX, King of France (1214-1270)
Jean I de Brienne, King of Jerusalem (1170-1237)

needs to be removed from the list of royal descendants until we can find some / any positive identification of who his parents were :-/

So that means there is no connection back to France at this stage, on the du Plessis line. I'm sure there are a few people working to try to find the way back. What is the possibility of finding the actual parents and family in France?

I don't know. I keep putting out feelers - but two people, including Danielle, are looking at French records and not finding anything. It's very sad - I agree.
